If the producers and their minions had ever taken the time to *listen* to Chick Webb, who they crowned "THE REAL King Of Swing," they might have noticed that Krupa's break was a typical Webb drum break!!! There are so many examples of Chick's playing on commercially-released recordings AND broadcasts AND transcriptions, but this makes me think the only things they listened to were "Harlem Congo" and a few sides with Ella.
