Re: the Ken Burns TV series and the inevitable charges of racism that it will elicit, you might like to check this amusing anecdote for irony. Several years ago our band, The Grand Dominion JB was playing at the Monterey festival and in the banquet room next to where we were waiting to go on a black/Afro-American/people-of-color (what IS the correct term these days?) wedding reception was being held.
